This project aims to corroborate postulates of the Positive Environment model my team and I have recently specified. According to this model, a positive environment contains satisfiers of human needs, instigators of sustainable behaviors, and environmental challenges. These three elements work in combination and in a balanced way in creating environmental positivity. According to such a theoretical framework, human wellbeing and sustainable behaviors are expected outcomes of positive environments. So far, the empirical testing of the model has provided evidence of its adequacy in explaining environmental positivity and how it does work when individuals face the current challenge imposed by COVID-19.
